Presentation
The
"Port" zone of Dakhla had to expand outside the port area, because
the plots of land available inside the port only represent 6 ha. This IZ
extends over a 270 ha gross area, of which 60 ha can be sold. Prepared by the
National Ports Agency in 1994 and launched in 1994, it offers 29 plots for rent
(temporary occupation of the port public domain), 15 plots are occupied, over
about 15 ha, by industrial units operating
in seafood processing activities and by a hydrocarbon storage facility over 6.3
ha. 14 plots are still available for rent over an approximately 39 ha area.
